Peel ply

Release film is a core auxiliary material in composite material molding processes (such as vacuum bagging and autoclave processes). It is mainly composed of high-temperature-resistant, low-surface-energy films or coatings. Its core function is to form an isolation layer between the mold and the composite product, enabling easy demolding of the product. At the same time, it can improve the surface finish of the product and control the resin content, making it a key consumable that ensures molding efficiency and product quality. It works in conjunction with breather felt and vacuum bags, undertaking the functions of "isolation and demolding", "exhaust", and "sealing" respectively, and together they form the auxiliary system for composite material molding.
